Cu-Ni-Based Alloys from Nanopowders as Potent Thermoelectric Materials for High-Power Output Applications

چکیده

A new approach for the development of thermoelectric materials, which focuses on a high-power factor instead large figure merit zT, has drawn attention in recent years. In this context, properties Cu-Ni-based alloys with very high electrical conductivity, moderate Seebeck coefficient, and therefore power are presented as promising low-cost alternative materials applications aiming to have output. The prepared via an arc melting process metallic nanopowders. heavy elements tin tungsten chosen alloying further improve while simultaneously reducing thermal conductivity resulting metal alloy, also positive effect zT value. Overall, samples low amounts Sn W show increase compared pure Cu-Ni alloy. These results demonstrate potential these often overlooked utilization nanopowders energy conversion.
